Request a Letter of Invitation

To request a letter of invitation to assist with your university requirements or a visa application, you must first register for the in-person conference. Then email info@komum.is. For the letters of invitation, we need the following info:

• Date and place of birth
• Nationality
• Passport number
• Date of issue
• Date of expiration

If you need the title of your talk or poster to appear in the letter, please share that information as well.

Visa Information

Iceland is an associate member of the Schengen Agreement, which exempts travellers from personal border controls between 22 EU countries. For residents outside the Schengen area, a valid passport is required for at least three months beyond date of entry.
