Hotel Accomodation
The meeting will be held on the campus of the University of Iceland in Reykjavík.
International air travelers will arrive at Keflavík Airport (KEF). From Keflavík, attendees can use one of these airport transfer services to reach Reykjavík City Center.
This page lists recommended accommodations at different price levels near the meeting site.
Accommodation
A number of rooms in different fee categories have been pre-booked for WPA participants, since Reykjavík could be quite crowded during the conference period. We recommend that you submit your hotel booking as early as possible. Bookings for the pre-booked hotels are made via the conference registration form. Although we recommend the hotels below, participants are free to book rooms elsewhere.

Full payment is required upon booking via on-line card payments. Accepted credit cards are VISA and Mastercard. On-line payments are guaranteed through 3D secured site.

Note for Visitors from the United States
Iceland uses cards with the chip-and-PIN system, which requires a 4-digit PIN for purchases. If you have a traditional “swipe and sign” card, you may wish to inquire about getting a chip-card from your bank or a major credit card issuer before travelling.
Cancellation policy
All cancellations must be done by writing. Cancellation is not confirmed until you get an e-mail confirming your cancellation.
Please email info@komum.is to cancel or change your accommodation booking, at least 30 days prior to your arrival date to avoid additional fees.
If you need to cancel your accommodation booking with 30 days of your arrival date any cancellation fees will be subject to the hotel cancellation policy.
Neither the organizing committee nor KOMUM conferences can be held responsible for any financial loss resulting from exchange rate fluctuations.

With an average room size of 19.2 m2, the Standard Double rooms at Plaza are an excellent choice for those that prefer a comfortable place to stay at while enjoying Reykjavik and Iceland. These rooms are located from the 1st to 5th floor of Plaza hotel. Twin single beds can be combined to create a queen size double bed if preferred.
We are unable to add extra bed to this room type.

Hotel Cabin is well located, just 700 meters from Laugardalslaug swimming pool and 1,5 km from the city centre. Our Standard twin rooms are very compact, about 10m2. They are equipped with basic amenities.
Please note that some standard rooms have curtained window facing the hallway.
Amenities include two single beds, 35-inch-flat-screen TV, telephone, clothes hanger, chair, free WiFi, private bathroom with a shower, hair- & body soap and towels. Cabin Hotel has a buffet restaurant and a lobby bar.
